Where would you host a first game?

Right now I’m looking to start a new game. My plan is to run it at Tin Roof Cantina in Atlanta, Georgia on Thursdays after trivia, so around 9:00 to midnight.

I would also run a first game at a game store.

I am less inclined to run one at my home unless I already knew the person. I’m screening people who come to my home more for gaming the past few years.
